Arnav Bansal smashed a scintillating unbeaten 102 off just 54 balls to power Chandigarh Kings to a massive 120-run victory over Capital Strikers in the OMAXE Chandigarh Premier League at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula on Friday. Batting first, Chandigarh Kings piled up 238/5 in 20 overs, with Bansal hammering 11 sixes and two fours. Harish Kumar remained unbeaten on 54 off 17 balls, while skipper Shivam Bhambri contributed 36.
In reply, Capital Strikers were restricted to 118/8 despite Jaskirat Singh Mehra’s unbeaten 48. Bhagmender Lather starred with both bat and ball, claiming 3/16, while Rohit Dhanda picked up two wickets.
Earlier, Tricity Bashers defeated Royal Titans by 11 runs, with Sanyam Saini scoring 60 and Gaganpreet Singh taking 3/25.
