The three-day Chrysanthemum Show ended on Sunday with a prize-distribution ceremony at Terraced Garden, Sector 33.

UT adviser Dharam Pal, who was the chief guest, distributed prizes and certificates to the winners of different flower competitions in the presence of municipal commissioner Anindita Mitra.
The three-day fest saw visitors enjoying the blooming chrysanthemums, gathering information about new municipal initiatives and participating in the Swachhata quiz. They also filled the citizens perception survey and enjoyed shopping at stalls of self-help groups that had showcased various handicraft articles.
Children enjoyed free games at the Kids Zone, besides learning pot making and painting. The highlight of the Kids Zone was “Swachhata Ki Saanp Seerhi”, which was enjoyed even by adults.
Various cultural performances were staged on the concluding day, besides folk dances by artistes from Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, and Kashmir.
