The accused reportedly got a loan of 18 lakh sanctioned instead of the requested 7 lakh and siphoned off the excess amount.

According to police, the complaint was filed on December 30, 2025, by a resident of Kharar.

The complainant alleged that Rahul Aggarwal, Abhishek Dhir and Prashant conspired to misuse her documents and secured a higher loan from State Bank of India, Sector 4, Panchkula.

The accused allegedly took blank signed cheques from the victim as security and later used them to transfer 8.60 lakh and 2.10 lakh into their own accounts. An insurance policy was also issued without the victim’s knowledge.

Police said WhatsApp chats, bank records and other documents have been seized as evidence. The accused, Rahul Aggarwal and Abhishek Dhir, were already lodged in jail in another case and were brought on production warrants for questioning.
