The district on Thursday logged 20 fresh Covid-19 cases. The positivity rate stood at 2.39% taking the active caseload to 242. Meanwhile, hospitalisation of Covid-19 patients witnessed marginal dip from 17 admissions across various hospitals on Wednesday to 11 on Thursday.

As per the data shared by the office of civil surgeon Hitinder Kaur, a total of 1,14,322 persons have tested positive since the pandemic started and 3,024 persons have lost their lives to the deadly virus since March 2020 in the district.
