Ex-armyman shoots cousin dead in Tarn Taran

The deceased was identified as Ranjit Singh Rana, 38. According to the information, he was standing in front of his house when his cousin, former armyman Harpal Singh Pala, opened fire on him with his rifle. As a result of the gunshot, Ranjit died on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Ranjit Singh Rana, 38. According to the information, he was standing in front of his house when his cousin, former armyman Harpal Singh Pala, opened fire on him with his rifle. As a result of the gunshot, Ranjit died on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Chohla Sahib police station SHO Baljinder Singh, along with a police party, reached the spot. SHO Singh said raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.

A murder case has been registered. The deceased leaves behind his wife and a son.
