Haryana: District food and civil supplies official suspended for lapse

Haryana minister for food, civil supplies and consumer affairs Rajesh Nagar on Thursday ordered suspension of a department inspector for not responding to the letters of District Food and Civil Supplies Officer (DFSCO).

Ordering his suspension, the minister also directed the DFSCO to take the department’s legal opinion in the matter and have a criminal case registered against the inspector as well as inspector Naveen and Ashok. (Getty Images/iStockphoto)

Ordering his suspension, the minister also directed the DFSCO to take the department’s legal opinion in the matter and have a criminal case registered against the inspector as well as inspector Naveen and Ashok.

Officials said that action was taken on the complaint by Sonu Narang, a resident of Mahavir Colony in Ladwa town, who made several allegations against Inspector Ravindra.

In total Nagar heard 17 complaints and resolved 11 of them on the spot.

In Yamunanagar, minister for social justice and empowerment Krishan Kumar Bedi presided over a similar monthly meeting and ordered action in 12 of the 15 complaints he heard, while rest were kept pending.
