The award was received by acting civil surgeon and Aam Aadmi Clinic nodal officer Seema Garg. Deputy commissioner Aashika Jain said that it was an acknowledgment of the district’s excellence in delivering patient-centric primary healthcare services.

“The achievement highlights the district’s commitment to accessible, transparent, and patient-friendly healthcare delivery while strengthening the primary health system at the grassroots level”, she added, informing that 74 Aam Aadmi Clinics were operational in the district, providing free and quality healthcare services.

Pregnant women were being provided free ultrasound and level-2 scans at empanelled ultrasound centres, the deputy commissioner said.
