The Haryana government has appointed Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) as the executing agency for the construction of the new civil hospital in Gurugram.

State health minister Arti Singh Rao on Thursday said the state-of-the-art hospital would be constructed near the police lines in Gurugram. The ambitious healthcare project is estimated to cost approximately ₹1,054 crore and is aimed at strengthening the region’s public healthcare infrastructure.
Rao said the HSIIDC has been entrusted with the responsibility of executing and supervising the entire construction process to ensure timely and efficient completion of the project.
The health minister said the hospital infrastructure has been planned in two phases. In the first phase, a modern 400-bed facility will be developed to cater to the immediate healthcare needs of residents. In the second phase, an additional 200-bed infrastructure will be added, expanding the hospital into a comprehensive and advanced medical institution capable of serving a much larger population in the years ahead.
