While setting the 48-hour deadline to start land registration in the area in question, the deputy chief minister, who was responding to a question raised by a member of the House, said many years ago and without permission of the government, an officer had banned registration of land around Faridabad air force station.

He said investigation will also be done against the officer to figure out the reason behind this decision.

The deputy CM said permission will have to be taken from the urban local bodies department on registry of land having an area of more than one acre. And for registration of less than one acre land, permission will have to be taken from the town and country planning and urban local bodies department.

BJP MLA accuses state of giving casual response to issue of pollution

BJP MLA Abhe Singh Yadav, who represents Nangal Chaudhary assembly constituency that falls in Mahendragarh district, caused quite a flutter in the House by accusing the state government of giving a casual answer to the serious issue of pollution in his segment that is causing health problems to the residents.

The MLA urged Haryana assembly speaker Gian Chand Gupta to depute a committee to ascertain ground realities. The MLA wanted to know about the number of stone crushers functioning in Nangal Chaudhry assembly segment and action taken against the defaulters for violating norms.

Responding to this, Haryana education minister Kanwar Pal said 90 stone crushers in Nangal Choudhary Vidhan Sabha constituency have been installed with consent of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB).

He said of 90 crushers, 61 are following environmental norms and 25 were found not complying with the environmental norms and the cited norms and emissions. He said action has been taken against stone crushers not following environmental norms.
