Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh on Thursday flagged off 7th bus under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Bus Yatra Scheme from Gurdwara Kalghidhar Sahib, Phase 4.
Kulwant Singh said the pilgrims will undertake a two-night, three-day journey. During the trip, they will visit Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar, Durgiana Temple, Wagah Border and Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple before returning.
He said the state government has also launched a ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme and the process of issuing cards is underway across Punjab. He added that the Rasoi Ghar Scheme will provide essential household items to families.
MLA Kulwant said that stadiums are being constructed across the state, including 35 in the Mohali constituency. He stated that canal water has been supplied to farmers’ fields and that the government has implemented several commitments made during the elections. Several party leaders and local representatives were present on the occasion.
