Online Janata Darbar: Clean drinking water for Khanna residents in focus

Sharing details about the same in a press release, Raivarinder Singh said, “Citizens’ complaints about related schemes will be heard and efforts will be made to resolve them on the spot.” He added that locals can contact the water supply department if they are facing any problem regarding clean drinking water and sanitation in the villages.

A toll-free number, 1800-180-2468, was also shared for the public to contact the water supply and sanitation division. Complaints can also filed at the citizen corner through the department’s website, www.dwss.punjab.gov.in.

The executive engineer said the Punjab government has set up 31 water testing labs across the state, including one at the state level, six at the regional level, 17 at the district level, and seven at the block level. “The water supply department is ensuring the quality of drinking water and is making every effort to provide clean water to the people,” he added.
