Acting on a tip-off, Narot station house officer Jaimal Singh, swiftly initiated action against the illicit mining operations. A specialised police team was dispatched to the designated area, said SSP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh.

He said, “Upon arrival at the scene, the team discovered a poclain machine in operation, methodically extracting minor minerals without the requisite authorisation. Additionally, an abandoned tipper was located, signifying a hurried escape by the operator upon detection of the law enforcement team’s presence.”

“Subsequent investigation unearthed a car employed for mining endeavours, linked to proprietor of Dasmesh Crusher. The owner evaded capture, deserting the vehicle.”

Khakh said, “Our unit remains unwavering in enforcing the law and safeguarding our environment. This operation sends a distinct message that unlawful activities will not be countenanced, underscoring our commitment to preserving the sanctity of our region.”
