SAD patriarch Parkash Singh Badal complained of stomach and chest pain following which he was admitted to PGI

SAD patriarch Parkash Singh Badal was admitted to the PGI here on Monday after he complained of stomach and chest pain.

The 94-year-old former chief minister of Punjab was admitted to the advanced cardiac centre.

“Badal was examined by a team of doctors. He had an upset stomach, which was treated as per the requirement. All parameters were normal and his condition is stable. He is being examined by a team of doctors and his conditions are being closely monitored,” said PGI director Dr Vivek Lal.

According to party sources, doctors attending to him in the PGI said that Badal has a stomach infection.
