Two died after the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a gorge at a village in the Rohru sub-division of Shimla.
The deceased have been identified as Virender Singh and Lokinder Singh, both residents of Ranol village.According to the police, the accident occurred on Friday night near Ranol, when both men were on their way back to their home after election campaigning. The driver lost control of the vehicle, due to which it veered off the road and plunged into a gorge. As a result, both the occupants died on the spot.
