New Delhi: A 22-year-old married woman was found dead at her mother’s house in outer Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area on Tuesday, a police officer said on Wednesday.

According to police, a call from the Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Rohini, was received around 9 am about the woman being brought dead.

“She was found dead by the woman’s parents. She got married around six months ago. Statements of both the deceased’s parental family and in-laws were recorded. No allegations have been made by either side as of now. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination,” the police officer said.

Police said the statements will also be recorded by the SDM, as the marriage was less than seven years old.

Her husband works at a shop.
