A total of 108 government quarters with unauthorised construction were reported during the last four years (2022-2026) across nine sectors in New Delhi’s RK Puram, the union government told the Parliament on Monday.

Union minister of state for housing and urban affairs Tokhan Sahu said notices have been issued to all allottees to remove unauthorised construction, and cancellation orders have been issued to all defaulters.
He was replying to a question by Rajya Sabha MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan from Assam.
Bhuyan asked whether the government has issued notices to demolish unauthorised constructions in government housing from Type-I to Type-II in RK Puram, how many notices have been issued, and how many quarters have been cancelled from 2022 to 2026.
