A total of 14 police personnel — 12 inspectors and two sub-inspectors — were transferred within the district on Monday, in the first reshuffle after police commissioner Kala Ramachandran took over the post on February 15, said the officials.

Ramachandran has also ordered that “all the officers who were transferred on Monday should join their duty immediately”.
The transferred officials include station house officers (SHOs) of the Bhondsi, Traffic III, Kherki Daula, IMT Manesar, Sushant Lok, and Manesar women’s police stations; reader of the commissioner; and the joint commissioner of police. Earlier, a sub-inspector was given the position of a reader to the police commissioner, who has now been replaced by an inspector.
The reader of the joint commissioner of police will remain the same, i.e, a sub-inspector, even after the transfer.
Subhash Boken, public relation officer (PRO) of Gurugram Police, said that “all the transfers were done on a routine basis — based on the tenure of posting of an officer, and other administrative factors”.
