A 24-year-old from Anandpur village in Faridabad died after his car hit a parked dumper truck on Pali-Faridabad road on Sunday, police said.

The deceased, identified as Mayank Bhadana, was a property dealer and was travelling to Gurugram for work in his Land Rover Defender. Police said the incident took place around 2 pm when Bhadana took a sharp turn while trying to save a nilgai on the road.
His car rammed into a parked dumper truck on the roadside, leading to his death, police said, adding that the car was completely damaged in the accident. The cabin was mangled, forcing the rescue personnel to use specialised metal cutters and hydraulic tools to pull out the victim, police added.
A complaint has been registered by the family members at Surajkund Police Station under section 194 (Police to Inquire and Report cases of suicide, homicie or suspicious death) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The family has not alleged any foul play in the accident.
The autopsy has been conducted and the body was handed over to the family, police said, adding that investigation is underway to identify the truck driver.
