GORAKHPUR Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday firmly assured complainants at the Janata Darbar here that the state government had sufficient budget for assistance of patients suffering from critical illnesses.

The chief minister held the Janata Darbar on the third consecutive day during his three-day stay in Gorakhpur.
When a woman told him that doctors had referred her relative to Apollo hospital, chief minister inquired about Ayushman card and instructed her to go on with treatment and assured her that she would be provided financial assistance. He also directed officials to make the estimate for granting financial help. Around 250 complainants had reached Digvijaya Nath auditorium hall in Gorakhnath temple to tell their problems to the chief minister.

He shook hands with children who came with their parents, offered them chocolates and blessed them.
According to the CM camp office, Yogi expressed satisfaction over proposed remodelling plan of the railway station and assured full cooperation from the state government. He also directed health officials to make all necessary arrangements to check Covid spread.
