Mumbai: The inauguration ceremony for the beautification work at the premises of the Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple in Prabhadevi was held on Monday evening in the open courtyard near the Siddhi entrance of the temple.

The event was attended by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, along with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation mayor Ritu Tawde and deputy mayor Sanjay Ghadi.On the occasion, the temple trust’s chairman Sadanand Saravankar, minister of state Pawan Kumar Tripathi, treasurer and trustees Rahul Londhe, Bhaskar Shetty, Mahesh Mudaliar, Gopal Dalvi, Jitendra Raut, Sudarshan Sangle and Meena Kambli offered prayers and performed the bhoomi pujan for the project.
To mark the occasion, bicycles, induction cooktops and mixer grinders were distributed free of cost in collaboration with Punjab National Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and State Bank of India.
