New Delhi: A 24-year-old man was killed, and two others were critically injured after a group of four assailants attacked three friends with knives at a petrol pump in south Delhi’s Lado Sarai late on Saturday night, police said.
A case has been registered and a manhunt launched to trace the accused, police said.
According to police, the assailants had arrived on a motorcycle to refuel at the petrol pump around 11 pm. The victims were repeatedly stabbed before the attackers fled the spot. Ali Aman, 24, was declared dead, while the two injured - Sufiyan and Ritik - are undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital and remain in critical condition. Police said that both sides were known to each other, and the accused followed the victims.
A passerby intervened and took the injured to the hospital, they added.
