IIM Nagpur offers MBA course for working professionals in Pune

PUNE The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) has started its first batch of MBA programmes for working professionals in Pune at the CIRT campus on Sunday.

The first batch of around 45 students, was welcomed in the presence of CP Gurnani, chairman, board of governors – IIM Nagpur & MD, CEO Tech Mahindra, Vaibhav Dange, chairperson, building committee & member, board of governors – IIM Nagpur, and advisor to NHAI, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.

Amit Kalyani, Deputy Managing Director – Bharat Forge Ltd was the chief guest for the programme.

“Sharpening of skills in such executive programmes help you strike a balance between work and home,” said Kalyani.

Gurnani insisted on the need to carry on a legacy while evolving. He emphasised the need for a professional to show a willingness to listen, learn, relearn and transform. “The capability to challenge conventional thinking, capability to marry the legacy to the future is extremely crucial,” he added.
