MSBSHSE launches statewide counselling helpline for HSC students

The counselling facility became operational immediately after the results were declared online on Saturday at 1 pm and will continue for the next eight days

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) launched a free online counselling and guidance service for Class 12 (HSC) students across the state.

The counselling facility became operational immediately after the results were declared online on Saturday at 1 pm and will continue for the next eight days. The service will remain available daily from 8 am to 8 pm, during which students can directly contact trained counsellors for guidance and emotional support.

According to the board, the initiative has been introduced considering the stress, anxiety and uncertainty many students face after examination results.

Deepak Mali, board secretary, appealed to students and parents to make full use of the facility. “After the declaration of results, many students require proper guidance and positive support regarding academics and career decisions. The counselling service has been started to ensure students do not feel isolated or stressed during this period,” he said.

Guidance will be offered on various aspects, including result analysis, revaluation procedures, supplementary examinations, college admissions, career opportunities and stress management.
