The Maharashtra government has announced plans to construct a new cooperative bhavan in Shivajinagar, with deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar reviewing the project on Tuesday.

Pawar stated that the building will be located near Sakhar Sankul on the existing premises.

“I reviewed the building plans and other details. I have instructed the administration to ensure all necessary arrangements are made in the new co-operative bhavan,” Pawar said.

Meanwhile, a special meeting was held regarding the 34 villages merged into the Pune Municipal Corporation. Issues related to property tax and basic infrastructure were discussed during the meeting.
