Brad Haddin smashed 42 off 46 balls as Australia downed the host West Indies by six wickets on Tuesday to reach the semifinals of the World Twenty20.

Australia recorded its fifth straight victory at the tournament by coasting to winning total of 109-4 with 22 balls to spare at the Beausejour Stadium.

Opener David Warner got the Australian chase off to a strong start with 25 off 12 balls.

Earlier, the West Indies was dismissed for a modest 105 off 19 overs.
