Harbhajan Singh and left arm seamer Ashish Nehra will be the main attractions in the North Zone leg of the one-day matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy beginning here Monday.

Though the two Indian discards will not lock horns against each other till Wednesday when Delhi play Punjab at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium in their second game here. However, the two are expected to be back in action on Monday with Delhi playing Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab facing Haryana.

The tournament in many ways will also be the last opportunity for players to impress their IPL franchises ahead of the T20 tournament in April.

Meanwhile, Delhi who had a disappointing run in the Ranji Trophy this season (not making to the knockouts) looked confident of putting up a better show in the shorter version.

The side under new skipper and veteran middle-order batsman Rajat Bhatia trained for over a couple of hours on Sunday.
