Buttler clears the front leg and swings hard for a big leg side hoick, but he’s miles off the line. The ball sneaks through and crashes into the stumps. OUT! LBW! Sri Lanka finally manage to dismiss Root. The round the wicket angle does the trick for Dhananjaya de Silva. He gives it plenty of air, lands it right in line with the stumps and beats Root on the sweep and is rapped on the pads. There's a huge appeal for LBW, but the umpire shakes his head in denial. However, after a long discusion Sri Lanka opt for the review. The UltraEdge shows no bat involvement and the Ball tracking pops up three reds with the ball projected to hit the top of the middle and leg stumps. The on-field decision has been changed to OUT. Joe Root has to depart, scoring a strong 61 off 90 balls and England are 144 for 3 now.
