Victoria's left arm fast bowler Dirk Nannes is the third new Australian signed by Delhi Daredevils for the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 32-year-old was signed up on the recommendation of coach Greg Shipperd, who is also in charge of the Victorian side. Nannes will join his statemate all-rounder Andrew McDonald and New South Wales batsman David Warner.
Nannes was part of the Victoria and Middlesex teams that won the domestic Twenty20 competitions in Australia and England last year.
With Nannes, Daredevils are looking to make up for the absence of dope tainted Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Asif, who quit the IPL for personal reasons.
The Australian will also strengthen the pace battery that comprises Glenn McGrath, Farveez Maharoof, Brett Geeves and Ashish Nehra.
