Family court for Kumble matter

Chetana's counsel on Friday informed the Supreme Court about the failure to reach an out-of-court settlement and withdrew her petition challenging a Karnataka High Court decision that referred the custody case to a family court.

Presently, the child is residing with her mother and surrogate father Anil Kumble. Now, a family court in Bangalore will decide the permanent custody of the child.
