High Court stops ICL from filing suit against BCCI in the UK

The Delhi High Court today barred unsanctioned Indian Cricket League (ICL) from filing a suit against the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) in the United Kingdom courts.

The Delhi High Court today barred unsanctioned Indian Cricket League (ICL) from filing a suit against the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) in the United Kingdom courts.

Essel Sports, who launched ICL, had sent a legal notice last month threatening to file a suit in the High Court of England & Wales in London seeking various reliefs and damages against the BCCI, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) for not recognising it.
