India, after opting to bat first, posted 229/7 in their 50 overs with Yastika Bhatia (50 off 80) emerging as the leading run-scorer. In response, Bangladesh got off to a slow start and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They were eventually bundled out on 119 as India closed the game with 9.3 overs to spare. Sneh Rana was the standout performer from the Indian camp with the ball as she picked four wickets in her 10-over-quota. She found great support by others, especially Rajeshwari Gayakwad, who conceded just 15 runs in her 10 overs. The match started with Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana providing the team with a perfect start, adding 74 runs for the opening wicket. However, Bangladesh bounced back well and picked three wickets in quick succession. Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh then stitched a crucial 50-plus stand before Ghosh was caught-behind on 26. Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar then added 48 runs together to help India post a respectable total. India have so far won three matches and lost three.
