India vs South Africa Score 2nd Test, Day 2 Highlights: The opening half an hour belonged to India as they only conceded 14 runs in 7 overs. Shami then removed Kagiso Rabada for a duck and SA reached 191/7 at Tea. Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen then stitched a useful 38-run stand for the 8th wicket to take SA into a first innings lead. Bumrah then cleaned up Maharaj on 22 to bag his first wicket of the match. Eventually, Thakur picked up two more wickets, Jansen (21) and Lungi Ngidi (2), to finish with career-best figures of 7/61 and help India bowl the hosts out of 229. The visitors only trail by 27. The Rahul-led side gained advantage in quick time as KL Rahul (9) and Mayank Agarwal smashed a few boundaries to take India into the lead only after 8 overs. Jansen removed Rahul and soon after, Duanne Oliver trapped Agarwal LBW on 23. Then, out-of-form batter Ajinkya Rahane (11*) and Cheteshwar Pujara (35*) played out the final half an hour to take India to 85/2 after 20 overs at Stumps. India currently lead by 58 runs.
