14.5 - A record sum paid to England allrounder Ben Stokes by Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL auction. Stokes’ sum of R 14.5 crore is the highest for an international player in an IPL Auction. It is the second highest overall in the history of the IPL, behind Yuvraj Singh who was paid over Rs 16 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
34.2 - The combined figures of the six England players who were bought in the auction. Stokes leads the way with R 14.5 crore for Rising Pune Supergiants, followed by Tymal Mills with R 12 crore for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chris Woakes was taken by Kolkata Knight Riders for R 4.2 crore with England skipper Eoin Morgan playing for Kings XI Punjab for R 2 crore. 11 - The total number of players purchased by Gujarat Lions in the 2017 auction, the most by any team. Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased the least with 5.
