Ben Stokes, Tymal Mills and Trent Boult dominated the IPL 2017 auction while Karn Sharma and T Natarajan were the big earners among the Indian players.

It was a good day for England at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 auctions as all-rounder Ben Stokes and pacer Tymal Mills were the top earners among the players who went under the hammer. The franchises were specifically interested in bolstering their pace arsenal and as a result, New Zealand’s Trent Boult and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada were picked up for impressive amounts. For India, Karn Sharma was the most expensive buy while T Natarajan, K Gowtham and Anirudh Choudhury were the big earners of the day.
