IPL 2019 Qualifier 2: Rivalries were kept aside for a few moments as Suresh Raina helped youngster Rishabh Pant by tying both of his shoelaces during the Delhi Capitals innings.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) can get quite competitive sometimes and there have been a number of instances where national teammates turn into bitter rivals. However, that was not the case during the Qualifier 2 match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals on Friday.
Rivalries were kept aside for a few moments as Suresh Raina helped youngster Rishabh Pant by tying both of his shoelaces during the Delhi Capitals innings. It is common practice for fielders to help batsmen with their shoelaces as they are constrained with pads and Raina was no exception even during such a high-stakes encounter.

Half centuries by Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson led Chennai Super Kings to their eighth Indian Premier League final with a convincing six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals .
Du Plessis and Watson both scored 50 runs each as Chennai romped to 151-4 in 19 overs. Delhi had earlier struggled to reach 147-9 after Chennai skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to field.
Earlier,CSK’s spin trio of Ravindra Jadeja (2-23), Harbhajan Singh (2-31) and Imran Tahir (1-28) struck with regular intervals and seamer Deepak Chahar took 2-28. Pant, whose electrifying 49 against helped Delhi Capitals eliminate Sunrisers Hyderabad two days ago, was top scorer with 38.
Chennai will meet Mumbai Indians in the final on Sunday.
