The day he came to know he would have to lead Bangladesh's pace attack, 21-year-old Shafiul Islam dreamt of getting Sehwag out the first ball.
“I cannot forget the way he undermined Bangladesh by calling us an ‘ordinary team’ the last time they came here,” the fast bowler said. Shafiul proved his mettle in the very next match as his spell of 6-1-10-4 kept Bangladesh in the tournament.
“I would not have come this far if I was not a dreamer,” Shafiul said. He has been a dreamer all his life and his shy attitude proves it.
