Mithali to lead women's team on England tour

India will be playing five One-Day Internationals and a Twenty20 match during the tour.

Mithali Raj will lead the 17-member Indian women's cricket squad for the upcoming England tour from August 26 to September 9.

India will be playing five One-Day Internationals and a Twenty20 match during the tour, the BCCI said in a statement.

The players were selected after a meeting of the All India Women's Selection Committee held today at National Cricket Academy Bangalore.

Selectors Anju Jain, Poornima Rau, Mithu Mukherjee, Vrinda Bhagat and Sandhya Agarwal were present in the meeting.

Mithali Raj (C), Jhulan Goswami, Jaya Sharma, Karuna Jain, Sulakshana Naik, Hemlata Kala, Rumeli Dhar, Asha Rawat, Priyanka Roy, Devika Palshikar, Neetu David, Seema Pujare, Gauhar Sultan, Amita Sharma, Snehal Pradhan, Shanta Rangaswamy (Coach), Sandhya Agarwal (Manager)
