Sri Lanka blasts: Cricketing fraternity expresses shock over attacks, prays for speedy recovery

As per local reports, the blasts in hotels and churches in different parts of the country occurred at around 8.45 am (local time) even as the Easter Sunday masses were in progress in churches.

Easter Day bomb blasts at three Sri Lankan churches and three luxury hotels killed 156 people, including 35 foreigners, and wounded more than 400, hospital and police officials said, following a lull in major attacks since the end of the civil war 10 years ago.

These attacks as the first major attacks since the end of the civil war 10 years ago. As per local reports, the blasts in hotels and churches in different parts of the country occurred at around 8.45 am (local time) even as the Easter Sunday masses were in progress in churches.
