'There were 2 or 3 turning points': Saba Karim on India's Test win at Lord's
Speaking on the match, former India wicketkeeper-batsman Saba Karim said that there were two-or-three turning points in the match.
On the Day 5 of the Lord's Test, there were still possibilities of all three results, even though, the hosts England appeared to be the favourites. India had a lead of 154 runs and were six wickets down, which meant if England bowlers had managed to pick quick wickets, it would have set up the Joe Root-led team to an easy chase.
But despite losing Rishabh Pant early on, the unbeaten-partnership of 89 runs between Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami turned the momentum in India's favour, as the Virat Kohli-led Indian team asked England to chase down 272.

The bowlers did the rest of the job for India as they bundled out the hosts for 120 to help India pick up an emphatic 151-run win at Lord's to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series.
Speaking on the match, former India wicketkeeper-batsman Saba Karim said that there were two-or-three turning points in the match.
“I feel there were two or three turning points in this match. The biggest turning point was Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane's partnership. After that yesterday, it was a very important time when India had lost eight wickets. There Bumrah and Shami stitched together a valuable partnership for their team,” he said on India News.
“Along with that, Jonny Bairstow's wicket just before tea and after that in the first over itself, Bumrah took the wicket of Joe Root. I feel because of these turning moments only India won the match brilliantly and defeated England,” he added.
