US group pledges sponsorship for ICL
An American company pledges USD 10 million sponsorship for ICL to involve the NRI fans in the Essel Group venture.

The coffers of the already cash-rich Indian Cricket League would further swell as an American company has pledged USD 10 million sponsorship to involve the non-resident Indian fans in the Essel Group venture.
The America Inc, in a message from San Francisco, disclosed its plan to modernise cricket in India.
A delegation of America Inc will visit India on September 28 to finalise the plans and expansion of ICL, said Vikram Bajwa, who will officiate as the secretary of the ICL.
Bajwa also said "the endeavour by Subash Chandra will create good pool of sportsmen and also help in restricting favourism in the game".
