Kohli shares heartwarming message for Anushka on completing 5 years of marriage, actor replies with ‘payback’ comment
Kohli took to social media to share a heartwarming message for his wife Anushka Sharma and the actress replied to his spots with an epic "payback" comment.
A day after Virat Kohli broke his century drought in the ODI format, notching up his 44th ton and first in 1214 days, en route to his knock of 113 runs, former India captain celebrated his fifth marriage anniversary. Kohli took to social media to share a heartwarming message for his wife Anushka Sharma and the actress replied to his spots with an epic "payback" comment.
In the December of 2017, Kohli got married to Anushka in a hush-hush ceremony in Italy. On Sunday, they completed five years of their marriage. Kohli took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post.
He wrote, "5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed I am to find you , I love you with all my heart," with a picture of himself with his wife.
Anushka replied saying, "Thank god you didn’t go for ‘payback’ post."
Talking about Kohli, he is presently in Bangladesh, gearing up for the Test series which begins from December 14 in Chattogram. The second Test will be played in Mirpur starting December 22.
Kohli on Saturday played an impressive knock in India's colossal 227-run win in the third and final ODI match of the series against Bangladesh. Kohli ended his century drought in ODIs, with a knock that put him ahead of Australia great Ricky Ponting in the list of most international tons. With 72 such scores to his name, he now only stands behind India legend Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli was also involved in a massive 290-run stand for the second wicket alongside Ishan Kishan, who notched up an epic double century as India piled 409 runs for the loss of eight wickets, their sixth 400-plus total in ODI history.
