Zaheer ruled out of Lanka series, Mithun to replace him

India strike bowler Zaheer Khan has been ruled out of the forthcoming Sri Lanka series because of a shoulder injury.
The series includes three Tests against the hosts, followed by a tri-series also involving New Zealand.
The BCCI announced the selection of Karnataka pacer Abhimanyu Mithun to replace him. Mithun, who only made his First Class debut in the 2009-10 season, topped the bowling charts with 47 wickets and has forced his way into the senior squad. He made his ODI debut against South Africa in February this year.
