Minor fire in 13th floor of sales tax building at Delhi’s ITO, doused

Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was doused in around 10 minutes.

Six fire tenders were rushed to douse the fire that occurred at the 13th floor of the building, said Delhi Fire Service chief Atul Garg. The call time of the fire was 8:30 am, he added.

Garg said quick action by the fire department helped contain the blaze to that area only and it was doused in around 10 minutes .

Officials said the fire could have been caused due to short circuit and the matter was being probed to ascertain the exact cause.
