The Adjutant General's branch of the Army is looking into the allegations made by the retired officers, Army sources said in New Delhi.

The retired Sikh officers had levelled the allegations reportedly at a press conference in Chandigarh on December 17.

The matter was brought to the notice of the defence ministry by the National Security Advisor secretariat recently, the sources said.

A Sikh separatist outfit based in Canada appears to be seeking to use these allegations to incite passions as it has put the video of the press conference on its website, the sources said.
