"What a remarkable coincidence it is that the Allahabad High Court has announced last week that the Bench considering the title suits relating to the Ayodhya dispute will pronounce its verdict on September 24...When in 1990, I decided to undertake a Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya where kar sewa had been announced for October 30, I decided to commence my journey on September 25," Advani said in his latest blog posting.

The BJP veteran said by and large party MPs have heeded to his advice on not making statements on Ayodhya case.

He also said the month of September assumes importance for the rest of the world as it also marks the anniversary of 9/11 attacks in the United States.

Recalling his visit to US after the attacks, he said, while the twin structures of World Trade Centre have collapsed what remains is the democratic spirit of India and United States, which terrorists cannot harm.
