Businessman held for morphing pictures

The police have arrested one Jitender Singh Rana (30) for allegedly morphing pictures of two women on objectionable pictures and circulating them on the Internet. He has managed to get bail today.

The police have arrested one Jitender Singh Rana (30) for allegedly morphing pictures of two women on objectionable pictures and circulating them on the Internet. He has managed to get bail today. The accused and his girlfriend were friends with two airhostesses and they were all friends on the social networking site Facebook.

The police said Rana, who is married and has a child, and his girlfriend had reportedly had a tiff with the two victims. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police had nabbed Rana.

The police said Rana morphed the pictures at the behest of his girlfriend. He then sent the pictures to friends on Orkut, another social networking site, besides posting them on a blog to “teach them a lesson”.

After the dispute with the girls, Rana allegedly downloaded their photos from their account on Facebook and morphed their photographs by putting their faces on objectionable photographs.

The women approached police after their friends informed about the obscene pictures.

A case was registered by the Special Cell under the Information Technology (IT) Act-67. htc
