Car kills 2 school kids in NW Delhi

Two students were killed when they were on their way home from school in Jharoda area of northwest Delhi on Thursday afternoon.

The car rammed into a wall after hitting the children, killing the driver. The incident happened around 1pm when a speeding Santro car hit them on their way back home.

The children, identified as Prashant (7) and Himanshu (8), were students of a government primary school in Jharoda.
The driver was identified as Jai Om. “The accident took place metres away from the homes of the two kids. Om, a realtor, belonged to a village in Gurgaon,” said a policeman.
