Couple held on drug charge

Delhi Police’s Crime Branch have arrested a couple for trying to allegedly export restricted psychotropic drugs to Afghanistan, reports HT Correspondent.

Delhi Police’s Crime Branch have arrested a couple for trying to allegedly export restricted psychotropic drugs to Afghanistan.

Rabiya Begum (45) and husband Kalim Akhtar (50) operated from their Sangam Vihar house in south Delhi.

Police have seized 200 litres of Phenobarbital and 300 litres of acetic anhydrate, estimated to be worth Rs 1 crore.
