Govt not listening to majority voice on lokpal bill: Anna

Social activist Anna Hazare today revealed a survey conducted by them according to which 85% of 4 lakh people surveyed were in support of Anna's version of lokpal bill.

Addressing the media on Monday, along with his team members Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, social activist Anna Hazare revealed a survey conducted by them according to which 85% of 4 lakh people surveyed were in support of Anna's version of lokpal bill.

Hazare demanded the government to accept the civil society's version of the bill and added that they will accept Parliament's decision on the jan lokpal bill.

Meanwhile, RTI activist and Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal said, that though 12-13 points proposed by them in the lokpal bill draft have been accepted by the government, most of their critical demands were rejected.

Criticising the government Anna said, the UPA defamed itself worldwide because of midnight crackdown on Baba Ramdev who was protesting in New Delhi to bring back black money stashed abroad.

On being asked about permission denied by Delhi police to fast at Jantar Mantar what would be his plan of action, he said he will shift the protest site but won't give up.
