Lack of facilities leaves applicants fuming

“There’s neither proper shelter from the heat nor seating arrangement,” said Sakshi Sood from St Bede’s College, Shimla “They should at least install a few water filters around the Arts Faculty so we can refill our water bottles.”

While the heat bothered some, unending queues complicated the procedure for others.

“It took me an hour and a half to submit my form,” said Dhanashyam, a DU aspirant from Manipur.

Outstation candidates were also confused and harried.

“I am new to the city and staying with family friends in North-West Delhi,” said Tsering from Tibet. “It took me a long time to find my way to here. I wish I could have submitted my form near where I’m staying.”

The unavailability of enough Photostat machines was another bugbear.
